Pittsburgh Technical Institute’s School of Design offers the following majors:
- Computer Aided Drafting – Architectural Drafting: work with architects, designers and engineers to create the plans for commercial and residential buildings and their surroundings.
- Computer Aided Drafting – Mechanical Drafting: create comprehensive designs for the development of manufactured products, devices and instruments.
- Graphic Design: transform basic text and images into visuals that grab a consumer’s attention. Create brochures, billboards, web sites, print advertisements and layouts, product packaging, DVD and CD covers, posters, signs, and more.
- Multimedia Technologies – Web/Interactive Design: develop aesthetically pleasing electronic content for the Internet and other interactive media that are vital to industries worldwide.
- Multimedia Technologies – Video/3-D Design: utilize visual effects to create projects for video and web applications.
Pittsburgh Technical Institute is Western Pennsylvania’s first Middle States accredited two-year career college.
